the idea

I’m a crazily busy working mother; trying hard to educate and enthuse my 3yr old daughter, Abbie, about a variety of tasty foods (with mixed results!).  I don’t have any qualifications as a cook; I am more driven to cook because of greediness!!
We cook together most evenings and always at weekends and so I thought I would blog what we are cooking to inspire other hectic parents!  I aim to cook with seasonal ingredients and love vistiting my fantastic local butcher and farmer’s market, although time pressures mean that I am also a regular in the supermarket!
I have been inspired by reading Nigel Slater’s ‘Kitchen Diaries’ and thought I would create my own ‘Kidkitchen’ diary on this blog – enjoy!
